- The Beneteau USA plant opened in 1986 in Marion, SC, and since then the factory has nearly doubled with about 25 million of capital invested in the US. Today there is almost a quarter of a million feet of facility space and it is the most advanced American sailboat plant in use.

- A team of sailing enthusiasts lead the company. Wayne Burdick, President, a Connecticut Yankee, is currently sailing his 26th boat - a Beneteau 411, and has been involved in the boat business for over 30 years. Michael Lecholop, Vice President of Sales, has been with Beneteau USA for over 15 years and he is a South Carolina native.

- A loyal team of 240 American families living in South Carolina craft 400 to 500 "floating dreams" a year. Beneteau USA is the third largest industry in beautiful Marion, SC - a county that is in the center of a traditional, historically rich area with a strong family/work ethic.

- The materials used originally in our typical Marion-built Beneteau are sourced through hundreds of the finest OEM suppliers, the vast majority of which are American companies, with hundreds of American employees.
