Beneteau Completes the Sense Range with the new Sense 46

The Sense 46 follows in the footsteps of the original Sense 50. An intelligently designed, comfortable boat, providing functionality second to none on a cruising monohull, that you could cruise round the world with. Prioritizing the enjoyment of life with family and friends, the Sense 46 has two spacious cabins and keeps the general layout that made the concept so successful. Life on board is organized around three main living areas, from stern to stem:
1- A living space on the sea with an extra-large cockpit and clear access to the water.
2- An interior living space conducive to shared moments between the open salon and galley.
3- Finally, two spacious twin cabins located forward, each with their own private showers.
Completely inspired by the principles of contemporary interior architecture, the new Sense subtly combines openness and privacy.
Forward, the cabins offer a real owner's suite, with an en suite head and private shower. The most refined owners will succumb to the island berth, finishes and indirect lighting, which are generally only found on larger yachts.
Set back from the owner space, the second twin cabin is an airy room, with an excellent finish, also with its own private shower room equipped with a spacious shower and a large washbasin.
The second head is located between the salon and cabins to make it available to guests.
Thanks to its optimal beam, the Sense 46 offers a salon designed like a living room with splendid volume and remarkably equipped. The light bathes the whole interior with light, which further increases the feeling of openness.
Spacious and modular, the cockpit combined with the swim platform provides a place to unwind, enjoy the water and share unforgettable moments.
Fluid and close to the water, the Sense 46 retains the specific innovative feature of a hull designed to offer a particularly low heel angle, not only guaranteeing great seaworthiness, but also fine sailing speeds.
By bringing the control of the boat forward to the helm station, you can always sail on Sense 46 with a limited crew. In this respect, the arch remains a major innovation, considerably improving balance under sail, freedom of circulation in the cockpit and safety on board.
The Sense 46 will make its debut to the American market at the United States Sailboat Show held October 4th to 8th in Annapolis, Maryland.
