An association with real class!

On Friday 14 January, following a tour of the First 30 production plant, four owners met at Beauvoir-sur-Mer to sign the founding principles of the association and decide on its name: the Classe First 30 JK (First 30 JK class).
So here, hot off the press, is the list of the founder members of this new French association on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts.

Vice-Chairman: Matthieu Foulquier Gazagnes
Secretary: Philippe Nouzille
Treasurer: François Badatcheff 

The members have also co-opted Philippe Massu as advisor and technical manager. The same meeting also provided the opportunity for members to resolve a number of other issues, including the sail emblem, the maximum sail plan and associated rating, the basic principles for class regulations based on the Level Rating (real-time competition and maximum identical handicap), and to allocate the list of priority tasks to each member.

The founders also defined or redefined the resources of the association and its scope of action. Discovery trips, social get-togethers, competitive events, conferences, First 30 JK class rules… all this and more in a packed programme that promises a great future for the First 30 JK class!
